Blair duQuesnay, CFA®, CFP® is an investment advisor at Ritholtz Wealth Management, LLC. She works with the firm’s clients to create sustainable financial plans and investment strategies. She is a member of the firm’s investment committee, where she provides an advisor’s perspective and has a pulse on the questions clients are asking about their portfolios.

Blair is an active contributor and commenter on the financial services industry. She is the author of the New York Times opinion piece, “Consider Firing Your Male Broker” in January 2019. She has been featured or quoted in publications including The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, InvestmentNews, Morningstar Advisor Magazine, and Business Insider.

In 2017, Blair was given the Millennial Award for Financial Services in her hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana. Blair was named to the 2015 Investment News “40 Under 40” list of top advisors and associated professionals in the financial planning industry. In 2016, Blair was also named by local New Orleans’ publication The Gambit as a 40 Under 40 honoree.

Blair is a frequent speaker and panelist at financial service events and conferences. She has appeared on stage at the CFA Annual Conference, the Morningstar Investment Conference, and has moderated the CFA Wealth Management Conference.

Blair is a Past President of the CFA Society of Louisiana where she continues to serve on the board.  She is active in her local community, serving as the Chair of Citizens for 1 Greater New Orleans, a nonpartisan, grassroots organization that aims to be the voice for reform and renewal in New Orleans and Louisiana.  She is a prior board member of the New Orleans Junior League where she is a sustaining member.

Blair and her husband live in New Orleans with their two young children.
