I reached out to about 100 women tech entrepreneurs across the country and asked for their help in shaping this perspective. Through a simple survey, coupled with public data collection, a picture starts to emerge of some of the women who are and have been building tech companies successfully in the Valley for the last 20 years.

Since studies now show that women investors are up to three times more likely to invest in women founders, it is clear that the fastest way to fund more women is to hire more women investing partners with check-writing ability. The effect to venture firms? Returns.

The House Passes Bill Meant To Counter Texas-Style Abortion Bans

The bill passed the House mainly along party lines, 218-211, with one Democrat voting with Republicans. The vote was largely symbolic as the bill is unlikely to advance in the Senate, where 10 Republicans and all Democrats would need to back the bill in order to meet the 60-vote threshold.

Hayley Arceneaux back on earth after history-making space flight

Arceneaux, 29, a St. Jude physician assistant who was treated at the Memphis, Tennessee, hospital nearly two decades ago for bone cancer, was joined businessman-philanthropist Jared Isaacman, who paid an undisclosed sum to book the flight; geoscientist Sian Proctor; and aerospace industry worker Chris Sembroski on the three-day trip 357 miles above the Earth’s surface.
